2015 – a Banner year for Superior Steel!

2015 was an incredible year for Superior Steel Erectors! We installed more than 3,000 tonnes of structural steel on projects in Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan and BC. At our peak, we employed 80 Ironworker's and Welders - the most in our 11 year history. Some of the key projects we completed in 2015:

  • Seton Superstore, Calgary, AB (280 tonnes)
  • Sage Hill Loblaws, Calgary, AB (178 tonnes)
  • Cold Lake School, Cold Lake, AB (150 tonnes)
  • Civic Operations Centre, Saskatoon, SK (174 tonnes)
  • EH Walter School, Paradise Valley, AB (112) tonnes
  • Lois E. Hole School, St. Albert, AB (208 tonnes)
  • Rogers Arena (structural and metal decking), Edmonton, ABSavaryn Bus Centre 2

We are also very proud of the hard work and dedication of all Superior Steel's employees. Together we worked almost 100,000 hours in the field without ONE lost time accident - this was accomplished by our employees' commitment to our safety program and industry leading safety training standards.
